YOU ARE SUCCESS PERSONIFIED                       “And the man became great and went forward, and grew until he became very great” (gen. 26:13). In 2017, the realization that your success is first and foremost God’s eternal idea and that He has provided you with all that you need to succeed should inspire. “According as his divine power he hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. This understanding should inspire you to crave for success knowing too well that the good things of life are not beyond your reach. Go forward and claim all what your father has for you. You are better than this. You best will manifest sooner.                                   DECLARATION:       ...

ATTEMPT TO DREAM BIG “And Joseph dreamed a dream and he told if his brethren; and they hated him yet the more (Genesis 37:5).  You can never rise above the level of your dream. The quality of dreams that flow through your mind determines the quality of your life. Architects do exactly what God does; they sit down to think. They see clearly first in their minds the dreams of a house before they put it down in pencil. That is the process of creation. I have found out that there is no one that has ever succeeded without dreaming it. Anything that makes you cut short the process of dreaming is cutting short of your destiny. A man with a big dream can attract Gods attention. There is no law in heaven or on earth against dreaming big so this year you are at liberty to dream big. Your dream is your living because the bible says “For as he thinketh in his heart so is he… (Proverbs 23; 27). Let your dream for success this year be big enough to get God into it. Let it be s...

UNBLAMEABLE “And you, that were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:21-22)”.         Praise god! The very day I came across this scripture, I jumped, up for joy. Many Christians because of the wrong information they have been fed with paints a wrong picture of God and themselves. How you see God is very important because it will tell also how you see yourself. Balak hired Balaam to course the children of god but Balaam could not because he saw nothing wrong in the camp of Israel. Hear him – “He hath not beheld inequity in Jacob, neither hath he seen pervasiveness in Israel the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them” (Numbers 23: 21).  Do you realize that as a child of God you’re unblameable? It does not matter who’s pointing fingers at you – God has...

DEAD TO SIN “What shall we say then” shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein”. (Romans 6:1-2).       Many believers are struggling today with sin because they are yet to come to term with the reality of their salvation. As a born again child of God, you no longer have problem with sin because the nature of sin has been replaced with the divine nature of righteousness. Most of us still struggle with sin because we are either misinformed or we lack sufficient information to this effect.       According to our theme scripture, what does the bible mean by the phrase? “You are dead to sin” ? It simply means that the power of over you has been completely destroyed, syphoned and emptied. It means sin shall not have dominion over you (Rom. 6:14) because “He that is dead is free from sin” (Rom. 6:7). The strength of sin is law which has been abolished by Jesus and this has complet...

JOY UNSPEAKABLE “When having not seen, ye love; in whom, thou now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory” ( 1 Peter 1:8).      There shall be no sad moment in your life anymore, because anytime you allow sadness into your spirit, you lose. Any time you become sad, you struggle and end up being unproductive.               According to the scripture, joy is a dispenser of strength; it makes you sharp and creative. “For the joy of the lord is your strength”. (Neh. 8:10) and the bible also states that “with joy you will draw water from the well of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3) which means that from the moment you were born again, you were brought into a life of unending joy, you carry an unquantified deposit of joy in your spirit.       The Holy Spirit in you is a sure conductor of joy in you (Rom. 14:17) and that makes it impossible for you to be sad if only you will dare to cons...

GO OUT FOR SOULS “And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mar; 16:115).       It is good for you to know that soul winners are very important to God. They are very precious in his sight.      Shortly before he ascended, the lord commissioned the church to take his gospel to all men – which means that nothing should be more important than we leading people in our circle of influence to salvation. Every born again child of God has been enlisted into the ministry of reconciliation according to 2 Corinthians 5:18 “and all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself, by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”.       This is something we all should take very seriously this year, because people are God’s greatest asset on earth. The lord is always reaching out to touch the unsaved with his power but he can only do this through you. God’s highest blessings...

WHY MUST I GIVE MY FIRST FRUIT? Honour the lord with thy substance, and with the first fruit of all thine increase: so shall thy barn be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10).       The first fruit offering is to God a way of demonstrating the principle of putting God first in all things. To many, they think the first fruit is same as tithe. That is not true at all.       The first fruit is the first of our income and should be the best – you do not remove from it – you are to give all of it. While the tithe is a tenth of your income (Ex. 34:26; Lev. 23:9-10; Pr. 3:9-10; Lev. 27:26-27, 30-33).       *While the tithe applied to all forms of produce in the bible whether flock or plant – first fruit also applied to first born child of man consecrated unto God. There is something holy & special about the first, that’s why some had to be given the right of the first born. (Ex. 34:19-20; ...

SEPARATE IT UNTO THE LORD Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liguors: the first born of thy sons shall thou give: unto me. (Exodus 22:29). Whenever God gives an instruction, there is a blessing attached to it. His principles are eternal and benefitting to as many that subscribe to such. You do not deal with God as you would a man. When you are demanded to give your first fruit at the beginning of the year, put it to action immediately. Delay or procrastination in giving your first fruit or other offerings to God is actually a delay in receiving from him. First fruit existed before the law. Abel brought to God the firstlings of his flock and of the fat portions and God honoured it. (Genesis 4:3-4). God being righteous in all His dealings didn’t just ask us to give our first fruits. He demonstrated it by giving His first begotten son for the sins of the world. (John 3:16;1:34). If you give your first fruit at the appropriate time, the lord ...

THE FIRST FRUIT “Honour the lord with thy substance and with the fruit of all thine increase (Proverbs 3:9 KJV). It is surprising that many people (believers alike) love to give God their leftovers. If they do give anything, they do so with a very wrong attitude. These individuals may be sincere to contribute something, but their attitude is not right or proper. The scripture says: to obey is better than sacrifice and to harken than the fat of rams (paraphrased).    God expects us to obey His voice more than making sacrifices to Him. It is important to give God the first part of our income. This shows that God, not our possessions has first place in our lives and that our resources belong to Him, we are only managers of such resources.    First fruit offering is to God a way of demonstrating the principle of putting God first in all things. It shows the act of loving the lord with all your heart, soul & mind (Matthew 22:32-38).    First fruit ...

GOD IS THE MASTER STRATEGIST “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways declares the lord” (Isaiah 55:8 NIV). God is the master strategist; His ways are past finding according to Romans 11:33. Every act of God is His strategy to accomplish His eternal purpose and mostly seen by men as foolishness. “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men: and the weakness of God is stronger than men. (1 Cor. 1:25).     Moses was raised as Egyptian inside Pharaoh’s palace. Though he had a Hebrew heritage which he knew, Moses must have displayed a lot of Egyptian qualities to be addressed as one by the Midianites in Jethro’s house. Maybe he had an Egyptian accent, his dressing or his mannerism presented him thus, yet he was given a job that was an abomination to the Egyptian, and he took to the shepherd’s profession “ For every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptian. (Genesis 46:34).    God needed to break him, humble him to fit into hi...

ATTITUDE OF SUCCESS “So David waxed greater and greater; for the lord of host was with him”. (1 Chronicle 11:9).    Success is a universal desire. Everyone yearns for success in one form or the other. Success is commanding good result in succession. It is not a destination but a journey. It has to do with achieving goals.    God’s dream for you is that you consistently make progress and heap success upon success. God expects His children to be increasingly fruitful and productive in all their endeavours. As a child of God, understanding who I am in the pages of the scripture is what makes for my success – not my background or my certificate.    Success is not by accident hence for one to attain success the following secrets are vital ingredients.    *Purpose must be discovered. Purpose is why we live. 1 Kings. 5:5.    *Passion: you will never be successful without passion. All of those that succeed in their chosen field discove...

CONTINUAL PRAISE “Therefore by him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name”. (Hebrews 13:15 NKJV).    God expects us to be consistent in giving Him thanks and praise. Have you observed that it is easier to give the lord praise when everything is going on well, than when you are passing through trial or test.    Paul and Silas knew how to give the lord a sacrifice of praise. They were in prison yet they praised God this brought God into their situation – God’s presence broke the prison gates and chains because praise brings God in.    No matter the test or trial you are faced with now, the answer is giving the lord a sacrifice of praise in that condition and he will definitely bring you out, like he did for Paul and Silas.    The book of James chapter one tells us to count it all joy when we pass through test and trials. To count it all joy is the same as giving...

RISE UP TO DILIGENCE “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings: he shall not stand before mean men” (Proverbs 22:29). Being diligent at what you do remains a personal choice; nobody will do that for you. Those who succeed in their endeavour crave this quality and never accept mediocrity in their endeavours. Diligence means giving the required attention and care for excellence and perfection in fulfilling one’s responsibilities. A diligent person puts his best into what he or she does, paying attention to details with the sole purpose of attaining perfection. According to our theme verse, being diligent will bring you into place of influence and honour. A diligent person will not deliver a task until he has gone over it to check for and remove imperfections. A diligent person will always shun half-measures knowing that the perfection of your finishing is the reflection of your personality. The bible declares that “ he becometh poor that dealeth wit...

AVOID INDECISIVENESS “Say not ye – there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields for they are white already to harvest” (John 4:35 KJV). People’s success or failure in life is not dependant on the color of their skin but their attitude. Many people’s visions never take specific shape because they can’t make up their minds what they want to do in life. The only decision they make is not to decide. Prolonged indecisiveness is a killer of vision; it also drains the fuel of life. They will always procrastinate or postpone things that are supposed to be done now. The bible says “ a double minded man is unstable in all his ways” (James 1:8 KJV). T he most miserable people in the world are those who can never make decision. Indecisiveness unsettles and leaves the culprit on a shaky ground. Sometimes we know what we should be doing but we’re hesitant to take the first step. We always intend to do it but we never d...

PLANNING POWER 2 “And the lord answered me, and said, write the vision and make it plan upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (Habakkuk 2:2 KJV). Planning demands discipline. Planning is often burdensome as it seems to take the spontaneity out of life. However it is one of the common denominators of champions – they think ahead. According to proverbs 16:1, 9, you can never undermine the importance of planning if you want to be a success. God gives the vision but we must sit down to make the plan. You must be precise about your plan because when you lack a plan, you miss opportunities. When a contractor is building a structure he keeps the plan (blueprint) on the site with him – he needs to keep checking to be sure he’s right on track. If you don’t have a blueprint, you don’t have what to refer to. A lot of us go through life by trial and error whereas we could have save our self the trouble if we had a blueprint. Our problem is not lack of support but lack of laid down...

PLANNING POWER 1 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: whereas his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost”. (Matthew 1:18 KJV). If you fail to plan, you have planned to fail – this is the common but powerful saying. If the majority of those that know this statement take it serious, everything about their lives will be different. Jesus did not suddenly burst into the world to save humanity one Christmas morning Matthew 1:1-17 provides us a precise and an exhaustive list of Jesus’ human ancestry. This explains God’s long term plan for the salvation of humanity. God prepared every person involved and documented every detail beforehand. The New Year is here, you need to carve out some time and plan your life for the New Year. You can plan as much as five to ten years to come. The longer the time span, the better for you, Gods plans never fail simply because He plans long term. Most international organiz...

VISION “Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he (proverbs 29:18). Vision is a divine insight into God’s plans. It is the unfolding of God’s own programme for a man; it is having a supernatural knowledge into ones placement; it is the divine map for direction to a man’s destiny. Vision is what give a man voice and the vision of a man is his life. Vision also can be referred to be the picture of a preferred future and the definition of your life’s assignment. Vision is the essence of your existence and, it must be well defined. Vision is not about us but it is all about God. “There are many devices in a man’s heart: nevertheless the counsel of the Lord that shall stand” (Proverbs 21:19) true vision is not a human invention but about the desire God imparts to us. Not a private view of our future but a view of our future inspired by God. Vision is the idea that never leaves you, the dream that won’t go away, the passion that won’t su...

YOU ARE BERACAH “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well”. (Psalms 139:14). Every child of God is a creation of joy and wonder, a pride to the father. There is so much that God has deposited in the new creation which makes him peculiar and unique. According to the above scripture, every child of God is a peculiar treasure of inestimable value. In the book of Genesis, chapter twelve and verse two, God speaking said to Abraham “and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing”. My attention is fixed on the last line of the verse – “… and thou shall be a blessing”. This line of scripture has been fulfilled in you because you are Abraham’s seed (Gal. 3:29) you carry the blessing with you and you are a dispenser of the blessing wherever you go. You are BERACAH (Blessing). Any one that comes in contact with you will realize this. Walk...

BERACAH 2 “ Believe in the lord your God so shall ye be establish. Believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”. (2 Chron. 20:20). As a child of God, one of the keys to having a glorious year is seeing the right picture. You have the ability to see the unseen, and declare the end of any matter from the beginning, just like God himself – your father.     God framed the worlds by his word so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3). Hence you have been called to live the faith-life. Take the limit off God because there is nothing he cannot do. A lot of God’s people have ignorantly placed limits on what God can do in their lives – they are concerned about how God is going to fix it; they are worried about “the how”. They place emphasis on the way God is going to do it. When God wants to do something, he does not do it the way of men. His word says: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the lord”...

BARACAH 1 “On the fourth day they assembled in the valley of Beracah. There they blessed the lord. So the name of the place is still called the valley of Beracah (Blessing). (2 Chron. 20:26 AMP) You will have a glorious 2017 in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. God in His usual manner as a father will always allow his children have a glimps into his intentions and purposes for them for a particular season and year. The bible says: “ Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them” (Isaiah 42:9) God will not leave his children in the dark concerning the year – he announces his plans to have their minds prepared for it. Beracah means “blessing” in the Hebrew tongue and this becomes God’s prophetic word for you this year. You will not forget this year in a hurry because of the positive things you will achieve. Praise God. Three nations went up to battle king Jehoshaphat and Judah, Jehoshaphat resorted to seeki...
