*TOPIC: ASSURED AND FEARLESS IN CHRiSt*

*"For though I am away from you in body, yet I am with you is Spirit, delighted at the sight of your (standing shoulder to shoulder in such) orderly array and firmness and SOLID FRONT AND STEADFASTNESS FOR YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST (that leaning of entire human personality on him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness".* (Colossians 2:5 AMPC)

        In the world today, many are seeking peace from everywhere else except from the Lord, Jesus CHRiSt. Yet, He’s the only one that gives the kind of peace that man really needs. That peace is power over crises; meaning that, in the midst of the storms, troubles, and pressures of life, you can be unperturbed, fearless and preserved; full of joy and happiness. Man can’t help himself, hence to live meaningfully on earth, he needs the Lord and His word. Life becomes worth living and exciting when you discover that CHRiSt is all you need; He’s the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). The peace He gives you transcends human understanding (Philippians 4:7); it comes with extraordinary grace for excellence, preservation and rest. It originates from the Hebrew word “Shalom” which is a reference to the totality of salvation. Therefore, CHRiSt in you is the very embodiment of your peace, your rest, and your habitation.
         After the resurrection of Christ, a brand new spiritual atmosphere was birthed and enforced. The Cross of Jesus established a new spiritual benchmark where the believer having escaped from sin and its corruption, can now live fearless and winning everyday. Our triumph is a product of the new kind of relationship we now have in CHRiSt. We now stand before God without a sense of guilt, condemnation, inferiority complex and sin consciousness. We now have access to God’s unsearchable riches. And verything is now based on the unearned, undeserved, unmerited favour of God, and not our performance. At salvation, CHRiSt's riches, legacies, and redemption’s treasure have been transferred to us; we're fully supplied to reign along with Him.  But due to ignorance of these realities, many believers are still subject to satan’s oppression. Maybe you have been having tough times in your life, you ought not to be discouraged. Better days are ahead of you. Be fearless!
       As a believer, you have a solid front in CHRiSt in the face of daunting challenges, you ought to remain fearless and never attempt to chicken out or throw in the towel. You ought to face  challenges as they come, standing shoulder to shoulder, firm, courageous, fearless and assured of the fact that you are a victor in CHRiSt. You must stay on the word of God, making it your focus and meditation; you must make up your mind that you will not sink with the troubles but that you face them, still glowing in the spirit and full of joy. You must be assured of God’s relentless love, grace and favour which makes the difference. Our God is a God of providence; the latin word for "providence” is "provideo”; "pro” means  "before” while "video” means "I see”. God has already foreseen all your need in this life and has provided for each of them in CHRiSt. With such mindset, you're sure to always come out of your troubles unruffled. You must keep holding unto the word of God, seeing yourself standing fearlessly with a solid front in the midst of daunting situations.
          Beloved, you don’t have to struggle through life or be buffeted by the pressures of life; CHRiSt is your power over crises! He’s given you so much peace that He has left no place for fear. It makes no difference the turmoil, distress and troubles in today’s world, refuse to fear, for the Creator of the whole world loves and cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). His unconquerable wings of protection are spread over you. Let His peace rule in your heart, and be fearless and anxious for nothing.
