SPRING DAILY DEVOTIONAL

                                                 January 19.

“And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great”

(Genesis 26:13)

Child of God, your journey this year has been ordained only in one direction – upward and forward. This is exactly the way God has called you to live your life. He wants your life to be that of progressand advancement – not in theory but practically. It means that at the end of this year, success will be evidently seen in every area of your life. This is because as a joint heir with Christ, you have the nature to be absolutely successful.
You must therefore make up your mind to develop a consciousness – a mentality that’s consistent with your personality in Christ. Bible says, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). So, you must refuse thoughts of failure occupy your heart because it will surely play out in your life. See beyond the challenges and the harsh economic situation in your environment because as a child of God, your sufficiency is of God (2 Corinthians 3:5).
You must learn to stay illuminated; living by His light. The word of God is light hence it is the only factor that describes or defines our true personality and it is through study that you’ll discover all about yourself and you’ll know that you have all it takes to succeed wherever you find yourself. You’ll know that no situation in this world can put you in a disadvantage condition.
Instead of wasting your time with the wrong information circulating everywhere, give your time to God’s light – His word – that’s the only light that shows what God sees you to be and you cannot live beyond the limitations of this world if you cannot see what God sees about you (Psalm 119:105).
Because you’re born of the word, the word of God knows you. When you keep studying or hearing the word, you’ll find yourself making positive adjustments to align yourself with God’s intentions and plans for your life. You will never see defeat this year as you walk in the light of the word of God.

PRAYER: Dear Father, I don’t see as ordinary men, I see and think through your word I keep going in the direction of your word and nothing can stop my progress in Jesus name – Amen.
