20TH JUNE 2024

*GOOD MORNING SAINTS* *SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *THURSDAY 20TH JUNE, 2024* *TOPIC: IN CHRiSt, NO ONE PERISHES* *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"* (John 3:16).             The above text conveys a fact that many believers ignorantly argue, debate or disagree about. The fact remains that what every believer enjoys today is eternal salvation - eternal security. The phrase “should not perish but have everlasting life” expresses the fact of the eternal nature of our salvation. Believers are exempted from judgement and punishment for sin. The next verse that follows our theme text says, *"For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved".* (John 3:17). Jesus came to save us and everyone that believes in Him is eternally saved. Salvation is available because Jesus made Himself the price, sacrifi...

TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY, 2023 *"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world"*(1 John 4:4)      The epistle describe in clear term who the new creation in CHRiSt is. But most Christians have never associated themselves with the realities of their sonship simply because they've not taken advantage of the salient truths about who they are in CHRiSt. They end up living below God’s expectation and provisions in CHRiSt; they can’t stay positive in the face of prevailing circumstances. It's important to know that challenges inspire winners, hence you ought to stay dedicated and positive. Negative minds always struggle to see and create positive outcomes. Positive thinkers finds a way to get things done notwithstanding contrary circumstances. You should know that your life is not determined by the number of times you stumble, but by the number of times you rise up; dust yourself off and ...

MONDAY 16TH JANUARY, 2023 *"Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man loves me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him"* (John 14:23).                 After salvation, it is fundamental for the believer to know that God’s purpose concerning him has already been fulfilled in CHRiSt. CHRiSt's finished work is the accomplishment of God’s preordained plan for man. When He brought us into oneness with Himself at salvation, we became partakers of that preordained purpose in CHRiSt. *"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved"* (Eph. 1:4-6). The believer’s responsibility th...

TUESDAY 29TH NOVEMBER, 2022   *"For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off"* (Proverbs 23:18).               Beloved, there’s more about you than the eyes can see; which means that it does not matter what you have achieved and yet to achieve, your best days are yet to come. God’s ultimate desire for you is that you do well in your endeavours because, He takes pleasure in your success. *"...let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant"* (Psalm 35:27). God expects the radiance of your life to keep increasing. Proverbs 4:18 says, *"But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day".* By your nature, indwelled by the Holy spirit, God has made you His display window for showing the world what He has accomplished already in CHRiSt. *"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; THAT YE...

SUNDAY 30TH OCTOBER, 2022 *"Even everyone that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him"* (Isaiah 43:7).         Many believers are yet to come to terms with their identity in CHRiSt hence, they keep scrapping with unpleasant experiences - however such experiences are avoidable or summountable. Actually, there are two ways to go about life; the first is to depend on your efforts, struggle and credentials. And the other is to depend completely on the grace of God - the unearned, undeserve and unmerited favour of God, having been sourced from God at salvation: *"Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures"* (James 1:18); you've been given the ability to become the best you could be. That is why Christian living must always be well explained from the Scriptures. Our thought pattern as christians should only be substantiated from the...

SATURDAY 29TH OCTOBER, 2022 *"An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour; but through knowledge shall the just be delivered"* (Proverbs 11:9).               Many people are suffering for nothing; and when you carefully look into their cases, you will discover that the reason for their protracted suffering is ignorance. Many think that they have to suffer because of their background; while many others are weighed down by their past mistakes; they want you to believe that they are where they are in life because of their past mistakes. It makes no difference how your yesterday had been, if only you can see with the binacular of hope, you'll discover that in CHRiSt you have a great future. Some believe that they will never have another great opportunity because their best days are behind them; that's not true! You can still make great things happen - its not yet over. The scripture says, *"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...
