GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  FRIDAY 20TH NOVEMBER, 2020  TOPIC: THE NEW CREATION IN THE EYES OF THE FATHER 1 “ *Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second* ” (Hebrews 10:9)     After salvation, it is the place of the new creation to seek to know who he is and what God has said about him. The believer is supposed to submit himself to be taught with the intention to know. This will imply that he should see, look intently and make healthy observations only in Christ because there lies his completeness and wholeness. “ *For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power”* (Colossians 2:9-10).     The psalmist said, *“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well”* (Psalm 139:14). The phrase “ *for I am fear...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  WEDNESDAY 18TH NOVEMBER, 2020  TOPIC: UNBROKEN, UNHINDERED, UNMOLESTED 6 “ *If the Lord had not been on our side (let all Israel admit it), if the Lord had not been on our side, we would have been swallowed alive by our enemies, destroyed by their anger”*  (Psalm 124:1-3 TLB) I have discovered that the only reason some Christians fail is their inadequate knowledge of God’s word: “ *My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”*  (Hosea 4:6). You need to know that God doesn’t get any glory from your pains or failure; He’s only glorified every time you take a stand on His word and walk in the victory He has given you in Christ. Until you are aware, endorse, think, talk and act in synergy with God’s word, you wouldn't be able to stay afloat in times of troubles.       The fact remains that the Lord can solve whatever challenges you may be facing right now, no matter how difficult they may see...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  MONDAY 16TH NOVEMBER, 2020  TOPIC: UNBROKEN, UNHINDERED, UNMOLESTED 4 “ *And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations … Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world* ” (Matthew 28:18-20)     The authority Jesus was referring to is the authority of salvation – the authority of the resurrection. This explains why Peter said, “ *Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”* (Acts 4:12). That is the authority – why Jesus died and was raised from the dead; the authority to preach, teach and make disciples. The word “ *teach* ” in verse 19 of our theme text was translated from the Greek word “Mateteo” and it means to make men students. The phrase ‘ *teaching them* ...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER, 2020  TOPIC: UNBROKEN, UNHINDERED, UNMOLESTED 2 “ *And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations… teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, Amen* ” (Matthew 28:18-20)      While on earth, Jesus called Himself the ‘ *son of man’* simply because He needed to exert His right to use His authority as man. The man in Christ isn’t made to be trampled upon; he is created to be in charge – we are called to live supernaturally every day. But most believers think living the supernatural life is something that occurs occasionally.       When Jesus used the phrase “ *heaven and earth”* ; it is a phrase that implies the union of God with man, it's called the temple of God. The Lord affirmed His stand...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  THURSDAY 12TH NOVEMBER, 2020  TOPIC: INDWELLED BY THE SPIRIT 4 “ *In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you* ” (John 14:2)         Ephesians 1:13-14 that says, *“... In whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy spirit of promise which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of his glory”.* Clearly shows that the spirit of God dwells and lives in you, not temporarily but permanently. The believer is not his temporal but a permanent abode. Thus it is a misnomer for a believer to think that at anytime he or she is without the spirit. The Holy spirit is the earnest deposit or down payment of the purchased possession.       According to our theme text, the word ‘ *house* ’ was translated from the Greek word “ *Oikia* ” which refers ...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  TUESDAY 10TH NOVEMBER, 2020  TOPIC: INDWELLED BY THE SPIRIT 2 “ *Who hath also sealed us and given the earnest of the spirit in our hearts* ” (2 Corinthians 1:22)     The believer is indwelled by the spirit of God which was a promise in the Old Testament and only  became a reality at Jesus' resurrection. So the indwelling of the spirit in the believer is a present hour reality. This means that the believer has become one with the Father and he is no longer subject to the limitations and imperfections of the natural man. The indwelling of the spirit is the greatest gift any human can receive because once you have it, you can never perish.     Unfortunately, most believers have been taught wrongly hence they don’t enjoy the full benefits of the indwelled spirit. Some believe that the Holy spirit leaves whenever they do wrong and at such periods they don’t feel his presence. Note that Christia...
