GOOD MORNING

SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TOPIC: UNBROKEN, UNHINDERED, UNMOLESTED 2

“ *And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations… teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, Amen* ”
(Matthew 28:18-20)

While on earth, Jesus called Himself the ‘ *son of man’* simply because He needed to exert His right to use His authority as man. The man in Christ isn’t made to be trampled upon; he is created to be in charge – we are called to live supernaturally every day. But most believers think living the supernatural life is something that occurs occasionally.
When Jesus used the phrase “ *heaven and earth”* ; it is a phrase that implies the union of God with man, it's called the temple of God. The Lord affirmed His stand when He said  in verse 20, ‘Lo, I am with you always’. The absolute fact of Christianity is that God is with us – not physically. Having this consciousness should keep you unbroken, unhindered and unmolested. You see, there is a vital relationship between redemption and authority; the position of authority Jesus won has been transferred to us through spiritual rebirth in Christ (John 3:5). Those who believe in the Gospel have their relationship with God restored. The indwelling of the spirit in the believer is the guarantee to live victoriously, and not be subjected to situations.
The challenges of life maybe enormous but amidst so much inflation, rising cost of living, like Job you can still say, ‘when men are cast down, I am lifted up’ (Job 22:29). Don’t allow the economic pressure squeeze you; stop complaining because when you do, you are allowing the situation to squeeze you into its mold.  One of the evidence that you are not conscious of God’s ever present help is complaining. When you see some people not complaining, it is not that everything is rosy for them; just that they’re filled with the spirit. To some when things are wrong, they think it is a spiritual attack, there’s no attack beloved, just maintain the flow of the spirit.
Instead of complaining, get into your closet and begin to declare your prosperity and abundance in Christ; declare that you are an heir of God, and a joint – heir with Christ. when you have sufficiently proclaimed the word over your situation, it will dominate your senses and responses to such situations. So when situations try to overwhelm you, don’t you shift your stand; don’t be intimidated. Keep beholding yourself on the unshakable foundation – Christ.
The Bible admonishing us to: ‘rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice. Let your moderation be made known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 4:4-7). Instead of complaining, fill your mind with God’s thoughts and keep praying, and the assurance for victory will well-up in your  heart. Keep listening to the word of His grace. ‘ *You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trust in you’* (Isaiah 26:3).

*PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for your word which floods my heart with peace; I am unbroken, unhindered and unmolested in Jesus  name – Amen.*
