SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  TUESDAY 20TH JULY, 2021  TOPIC: IN CHRIST REALITY 4 *And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.*         (Colossians 2:15)          Matthew 28:11-15 says, *Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came unto the city, and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money into the soldiers, saying, say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. And if this came to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. So they took the money, and did as they were taught and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.*  The above scripture, shows that there were people who attempted to discredit the resurrection of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Out there...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 16TH JULY, 2021  TOPIC: DOCTRINE OF DELIVERANCE 4 *Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of this world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power* (Colossians 2:8-10)       Revealed knowledge is very important in the life of the man in Christ. This is because, without it, the believer will definitely find it difficult to navigate his ways in life or living in the will and purpose of God. Unfortunately, there is lack of revealed knowledge in most believers today simply because, the pastors in the local assemblies who are saddled with the responsibility of nurturing believers are not doing their work. The primary assignment of the pastor is to feed and nurture new believers to maturity. Where there's lack of prope...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  WEDNESDAY 14TH JULY, 2021  TOPIC: DOCTRINE OF DELIVERANCE 2 *Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world* (1 John 4:4)         There are basic informations that the believer shouldn’t be deprived of; hence, every believer must be aware of the fact that the redemptive work of Christ is what saves from sin and further changes our identity. By implication, it means as  believers, we now have new descriptions by God. The believer must be completely furnished about the provisions of the gospel which has become his present hour reality. And he ought to acknowledge these realities therein. Once someone hears and believes the gospel, he automatically receives forgiveness and remission of sin (Romans 10:13-14); and subsequently, all that Jesus has accomplished in His sacrificial, redemptive work becomes his.     ...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  MONDAY 12TH JULY, 2021  TOPIC: WE BEAT THE ODDS *For though I am away from you in body, yet I am with you in spirit, delighted at the sight of your (standing shoulder to shoulder in such) orderly array and the firmness and the solid front and steadfastness of your faith in Christ (that learning of the entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness)* (Colossians 2:5 AMPC)         Having given your heart to Christ at salvation, it doesn’t mean you will not face challenges nor opposition anymore. Challenges come to test our faith hence, in such times, you don't need to cower or allow your faith to dissipate. Infact in the face of daunting challenges and seemingly overwhelming oppositions, you should keep declaring who you are in Christ.         As children of God, we have a solid front in Christ; and this is what the spirit of Go...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY 10TH JULY, 2021  TOPIC: SEEKERS OF KNOWLEDGE  “ *For it is good and acceptable in the sight of God our saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth*”     (1 Timothy 2:3-4)            The scripture speaking of Jesus at twelve years says; “ *And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple sitting in the midst of doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions*” (Luke 2:46). This shows that Jesus at a very early age understood the importance of knowledge and sought after it. And the result was that  “ *… Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man*” (Luke 2::52).       After salvation, one of the very first desire in you ought to be deep hunger and pursuit for knowledge (knowledge of the revelation of Christ). When this is the case, all you'll want to do is ...

GOOD MORNING  SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL  THURSDAY 8TH JULY, 2021  TOPIC: CHRIST ON DISPLAY *But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should SHOW forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness unto his marvelous light.*   (2 Peter 2:9)         1 Corinthians 1:30 NIV says, *It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus who has become for us wisdom from God- that is our righteousness, holiness and redemption.* In His substitutionary sacrifice, Jesus took our place of punishment, and in his glory, we have taken His place. Implying that when He was buried, it was our sin that was buried, and when He resurrected, he made the new creation a reality. What He died and resurrected for has become the blessing for the man in Christ, GLORY, HALLELUJAH! Therefore, in being born again, you have the life and nature of God. You have been recreated in righteousness and true holi...
