SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL 
THURSDAY 8TH JULY, 2021 
TOPIC: CHRIST ON DISPLAY

*But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should SHOW forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness unto his marvelous light.*
  (2 Peter 2:9)

        1 Corinthians 1:30 NIV says, *It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus who has become for us wisdom from God- that is our righteousness, holiness and redemption.* In His substitutionary sacrifice, Jesus took our place of punishment, and in his glory, we have taken His place. Implying that when He was buried, it was our sin that was buried, and when He resurrected, he made the new creation a reality. What He died and resurrected for has become the blessing for the man in Christ, GLORY, HALLELUJAH! Therefore, in being born again, you have the life and nature of God. You have been recreated in righteousness and true holiness; your mission now is to express the will and nature of the Father on earth. That makes you Christ's representation and representative on earth.  Your spirit was recreated in the image and likeness of God; implying that you were created to be like Him and to function like Him.
        Thus, it's possible for you to put Christ on display; daily, expressing His will and nature without struggle. His life and divine attributes are in your spirit, which makes it naturally possible to do that. According to our theme text, the word *show* was translated from the Greek word  *kattaggelo* which means *to declare, to announce and teach.* Since you have become Christ’s expression and extension to your world, which has always been God's dream; it has now become your life's responsibility to fully showcase Him to your world. Every believer has the responsibility to declare, announce and teach Christ everywhere he finds himself. You must deliberately put Christ on display everywhere you go because it is only through you that He can show forth His goodness, grace, wisdom and excellence to the world. The natural or unregenerated man wouldn't know who God is until they meet the believer who's conscious of this responsibility. 
        Acts 5:20 Message Translation says *Tell the people everything there is to say about this life* (referring to eternal life - the God-kind of life and the very essence of dignity). This life is available to everyone through Christ Jesus; it is made known through the preaching of the Gospel and anyone who hears and believes is imparted with eternal life. Make it your life’s work that through the Holy Spirit, everywhere you are, you’ll put Christ on display. Expressing the Christ life is your calling.

February 18. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)” (James 5:16 Amp) The happenings in our environments and the world over calls for our importunity in prayer. Out of ignorance a lot of people are blaming God for certain occurrences in their lives. But if things must change in the direction of God’s original plans and purposes, then we must keep praying. God knows that there’s no situation a child of His cannot change because the divine power necessary to effect such change is already resident in you; it was deposited in you the moment you became born again.
