SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
April 1.
“And Jesus, replying said to them, Have faith in God (constantly). Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him” (Mark 11: 22-23 AMP)
Have you ever had the gnawing feeling on the inside that you were not getting enough out of life as you were supposed to – a feeling that life is full of possibilities, but somehow you could never figure out how to tap into them? Have you ever looked at another person’s life, marriage, financial status, or career and wondered, “what’s wrong with me?”
Many people have come to the conclusion that life is a mystery that cannot be solved; they think that success and prosperity are for others except them; they feel powerless and victimized as the events of their lives spiral out of control. But they could do something about it if they knew what to do; the truth of the matter is that they have tried everything they know and come up empty every time.
You see, your answer is right under your nose – at least a major part of it. As a young pastor for some years now, I do not believe that anyone’s life can be better or anyone can live in victory without being well informed concerning the power of words. You must understand that we define our lives by our every thought and word. If we want our lives to change, it all starts with what we think and say.
That is precisely why Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he (a man or woman) thinks in his heart, so is he”. You must realize that the word of God has the power to align anything that is misaligning in your life. Usually when we have mountains in our lives, we talk about them instead of talking to them as the word of God instructs us. We see Jesus in our today’s theme verses admonish us to speak to our mountain in faith.
The prophet Joel in the Old Testament foretold what would happen in the lives of God’s people when they receive the Holy Spirit: they’ll prophecy: meaning they’ll speak words of power (Joel 2:28). At the point of salvation, your words ceased to be words of mere men, they became words anointed with power. You can take control of your life and experience divine success and prosperity by learning to speak words that are divinely inspired, not idle and inoperative words.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the awareness that my words are anointed in Jesus name – Amen.
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
