SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

APRIL 2.
“And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God (constantly). Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And also not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him” (Mark 11:22-23AMP.)

From the opening verses above, it’s clear that your entire life and future is in your own hands. If you would use your mouth well or rightly, by speaking positively in line with God’s word, your life will be a blissful experience. This is because if you learn the value and practice of speaking in line with God’s word, you’ll experience victory after victory, and success after success.
The answer is under your nose; the power to change things is in your mouth; the victory is in what you say. So you must therefore permanently use your mouth to talk your way forward. The power of the spoken word is one of life’s revelations; all that you’ll ever become and accomplish hinges on how you choose to use your mouth. By what you allow to occupy your mind and mouth, you can either bless your life to great heights of success or send it down to realms of failures, sadness and discontentment.
So to be able to use your mouth well, you must learn to guard your heart and this can only be done by you saturating your heart with the word of God. Know that an unguarded heart will feed the mouth with unguarded and unwholesome words. Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) urges, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life”.
What occupies the hearts of a man will invariably determine what eventually fills  his mouth. Apostle Paul in Romans 10:10 said “For with the heart a person believes (adheres to trust in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, accepted to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms (his) salvation”. Beyond your salvation, this spiritual truth applies to other issues as well.
According to late scholar of the Bible, W. E. Vine, he defined two Greek words translated “confirm” in the King James Version as “to make firm, establish, make secure and to make valid, ratify, impart authority or influence.”The Greek word translated“confirmation”, he defined as “of authoritative validity”. So based on these definitions, we might say that verbal confession makes firm, establishes, secures, ratifies and gives authoritative validity to what a man believes.
Perhaps things haven’t really been going on as expected in your home, business, career, ministry or finances. It’s time to use your mouth to put that devil trying to mess you up where he really belongs. It doesn’t matter the challenges you face, you can change things through your words.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for your word in my heart and in my mouth. My life is in shape as I use my mouth aright, in Jesus name – Amen.
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
