SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 APRIL 8.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16-30)

This is wonderful; the master in the above scripture instructs us to shine with blazing intensity. He wants you to know that men are watching; they want to see out of your life things that corresponds with your nature and status in Christ.
Prophet Isaiah prophesied saying, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the lord is risen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:1). This was a prophecy announcing then the arrival of men and women that will take over the world by storm; this was a pointer to the emergence of a superman who will be unstoppable even in the midst of thick darkness. I am talking about you, the new creation.
You’re a special breed; you belong to a special class-God’s class of being; you’re a partaker of the divine nature, an associate of the God-kind. You have the very life of God. So when we say, for example, that a believer ought not to be sick, a believer ought not to be poor or be frustrated in life, its premised on this reality.
You’re “peculiar”; you’re “unique”, one of a kind; you’re the first and the best of all that God created; you’re topmost and first-class; you’re His glory not created to be subject to the devil, sickness, depravity and pain. But you’re superior to satan and your   responsibility is to shine to those in your world. We’re to show them how to live just as Jesus practically did while He was on earth.
The Bible says “Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be glow and burning with the spirit, serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11 AMPC). You’re to teach those in your sphere of contact or world of influence how to live; how to stay healed and healthy; how to achieve success and remain successful in their chosen area.
You must understand that it is your responsibility to shine, to fan your zeal glow hence God is telling you that you can. God wouldn’t tell you to do what He knows you can’t do. He’s given us the power and the ability to do it. So if you’re a teacher, a student, a politician, a fashion designer, a lawyer, a policeman or a soldier, shine and impact your world. You’re the solution to the poverty, darkness, confusion and death witnessed daily in your environment. Know that every bit of your attempt to correct these errors will pay off and you’ll be making a difference in your world.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege given to me to impact my world. My light shines so brightly, causing your glory to be seen, in Jesus name – Amen.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a  with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
