SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
APril 3.
“I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to me, you are my son; this day (I declare) I have begotten you”
(Psalm 2:7 AMP)
Understanding is the key to everything in the kingdom that is why the word of God say, “wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting (no matter what other things you get), get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7 Paraphrased). You cannot enter your inheritance without understanding.
Jesus speaking to His disciples in Mark chapter 4 verse 11 and 12 said, “…Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables. That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understanding, lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them”. It therefore means that when you became born again, you were ushered into the realm where you’re able to take delivery of the keys of the kingdom of heaven and through such keys, everything is practically at your disposal.
To buttress this fact and explain what these keys symbolizes, we hear Jesus saying, “woe unto you lawyers for you have taken away the key of knowledge” (Luke 11:52). The key in the kingdom of God is knowledge; appropriate and adequate insight and this is what gives you authority to determine the outcome in every matter. And one of the keys of the kingdom of God is bold declarations.
I once saw a movie where a king issued a royal decree. He wrote down a command or law and sent forth riders on horseback throughout the country to “declare the decree” to the citizens of that kingdom. The written word of God is His formal decree when a believer declares that word out of his mouth, with a heart full of faith, his faith-filled words go forth to establish God’s order in his life.
Some people believe God for a great deal of things but see very limited manifestation of them. Perhaps the reason being that they’re believing but not speaking. They may see some results of their faith but not at the measure it ought to be if they were using their mouth and heart together in God’s service (Romans 10:9-10).
Learn to use your mouth to control the atmosphere in your life from the realm of the spirit. Say, “I take dominion over all affairs of my life in the Name of Jesus. I rebuke lack, poverty, sickness and disease. I declare that there is health, wealth, peace and prosperity in my life, in Jesus name, name!”
Remember, there’s power in your mouth and it is one of the keys that makes kingdom inheritance accessible to you; once you say what you want, it becomes established: “thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee” (Job 22:28).
