SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

                                           February 3.
“He who comes from above (heaven) is (far) above all (others); he who comes from the earth belongs to the earth, and talks the language of earth (his words are from an earthly standpoint). He who comes fromheaven  is (far) above all others (far superior to all others in prominence and in excellence). It is to what He has (actually) seen and heard that he bears testimony, and yet no one, accept His testimony (no one receives His evidence as true)”. (John 3:31-32).

The above verses of the scripture is the beautiful description of you as a new creation. You’re from heaven, and by implication are far superior to all other creatures in prominence and excellence. But many have not come to the  realization of this truth.
As a believer, you should understand that this natural world has been subjected to the influence of Satan, which is why there’s sickness, disease, poverty, death and all kinds of evil and trouble in the world. However, you’re exempted from all of these because you’re not of this world, you’re of God’s kingdom. That’s why the Bible says, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone” (Psalm 91:10-12).
There’re things you might have to go through in life, as you carry out the assignment that the Lord has given to you; face it with hope, assurance and confidence that your victory is inevitable.
Beloved, it doesn’t matter the wiles of the devil, his stratagems, his “lying in wait”, God wants you to be assured of victory. (Ephesians 6:10-11) God wants you to put on the whole armour because if you don’t, you’ll be vulnerable. Verse 12 of the same chapter says that we wrestle not with flesh and blood, meaning that it isn’t a physical combat; rather it’s the adversary trying to sway you from the right path through deception. And the only way to win is to resist him (James 4:7).
No matter what the devil throws at you, you don’t have to cower but neutralize him by standing strong on your faith in the word.

PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for I am not unaware of the devils prank but I overcome him and his cohorts by my faith in your word, in Jesus name, Amen.

February 18. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)” (James 5:16 Amp) The happenings in our environments and the world over calls for our importunity in prayer. Out of ignorance a lot of people are blaming God for certain occurrences in their lives. But if things must change in the direction of God’s original plans and purposes, then we must keep praying.
