SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Friday 8.
“Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemeth? It is Christ that died….”
(Romans 8:33-34)
Some people see God as a judge who is always waiting for you to make mistake so he can strike; they see God as a judge who has exacting demands on man; they see God as one who is mad at them because of their mistakes and as long as they keep repeating those mistake, they remain in the bad books of God. In fact, I have heard some people say they are failing because God is mad at them. Beloved, the truth is that as a believer, God does not bring any charge against you, instead he justifies you because of the blood of His son. Our theme verses affirms this truth as it makes us to know that the one who has the right to condemn us, chose instead to die for us and through that sacrificial death of His, we’re now justified. To justify means to approve or to declare someone upright or to be declared right. It is a word used by judges- when a judge who is supposed to judge your case takes side with you by declaring you free, discharged, acquitted and not guilty as charged. Our justification is legal because of the involvement of Jesus’ blood – the blood of Jesus was the down payment for our sins to be wiped away. Therefore, as a child of God, you have no sin and you’re not guilty of any charges again – God cannot be angry with you.
But what the devil tries to do is to get you to believe that God watches you with a critical eye and is always out to punish you for all your failures. And he has deceived many sincere Christians into believing that if they do something wrong, some sort of sickness or curse will come upon them and their families. If these things happen, he convinces them that they’re suffering from the anger of God. In the meantime, you’ll see these sincere Christians struggling with condemnation because they think they’re the cause of their problems.
At the cross, God judged Jesus in your place – Jesus took all your punishments at the cross. So when the devil comes against you to condemn you, tell him, “It is written: it is God who justifies me, I am completely forgiven and made righteous before him. I refuse to accept any rejection nor condemnation because I know that my Father loves me and He’s not mad at me”.
Simply walk daily in this truth, let it be your mindset and watch your life move from glory to glory.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
