SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
February 25.
“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light”
(Colossians 1:12)
When God raised Jesus from the dead, you were raised together with Him and now you’re seated together with Christ, “far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this word, but also in that which is to come” (Ephesians 1:21). When you became born again not only was your sins forgiven, your position changed eternally.Verse 13 of Colossians 1 says, “who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath TRANSLATED us into the kingdom of his dear son”. Your being translated affected, your nature, position and language. You’re now the righteousness of God; you’re seated where He (Jesus) is seated; and because you’re now a king, your language has changed, you don’t beg when speaking, you don’t appeal when speaking; you issue orders and you command having realized the authority bestowed on you. Remember the Bible says that where the word of a king is there is power (Ecclesiastes 8:4).
Going through our theme verse, you’ll see the word “PARTAKERS” which in the new testament, two words translates it and they convey the same meaning. The first is “meris” and it means a participator or one who shares a quality with others“Koinonos” is the other which means a sharer, an associate, a companion and a partner. So a partaker therefore means someone who shares, or has a portion of, or has a part in; he participates, enjoys and benefits from or have same qualities, attributes or nature with the one with whom he is a partaker.
By implication it means that the new creation, beyond his salvation possess the same rights along with Jesus Christ. It means that there is the existence of a right of equal ownership of all that’s available in the kingdom with Christ.
It means that as believers, we’re heir of prosperity. Same way God’s righteousness was imparted to your spirit, greatness has been imparted to your spirit. You were born an heir of the sovereign. The Bible calls you heir of God, and Joint-heirs with Christ “(Romans 8:17)”. If He became sin for us (the sacrifice for sin) and you believed and became righteous, you should also believe that He became poor that through His poverty, we might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
So beyond our salvation, we now share in all that our Father has. Allow the realities of this knowledge to be evident in your life today and always.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
