SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

February 27.
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,  the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; That the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power”
(Ephesians 1:17-19)
Jesus’ coming was to help the suffering humanity and the time has come to clear the rubble of religious, tradition that has obscured the believers understanding of his identity in Christ; a time to re-establish fundamental truths on the bedrocks of the finished, complete work of Christ.
Many believers today are being taken  in by the devil’s deception witnessed in teachings that make the believer look like a weakling even though he is seated with Christ in the heavenlies, far above all powers, principalities of darkness. No demon can defer the believer who is seated with Christ far above all the works of the enemy. Our sitting and reigning with Christ in the heavenlies is a function of authority, honour and triumph, not failure, depression or defeat.
The believer is a product of Jesus’ resurrection, meaning he is triumphant and victorious but why does it seem so many believers are subject to satan and his demons? Whether or not the believer is enjoying that victory over the devil depends on what revelation knowledge of His resurrection he has and he can only know his true identity when Christ is revealed to him. Hence Paul spent time in the epistles to pray for the churches and one of such prayers is captured in our theme verses.
The Bible says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3). The above verse of the Bible lets us know that the life we’ve been called to live in Christ is far removed from failure and defeat because we’re associates of the God-kind. The Bible also says that he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17). So beyond our salvation, we’ve been brought into union with Christ; we’re not people struggling to attain God’s level, you’re already one with Him. Everything you require for a life of absolute success, victory, dominion, glory and righteousness has already been granted you in Christ. No wonder Paul said, “… all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). The reason many believers suffer is lack of knowledge, so give yourself to studying, meditating and applying God’s word in every area of your life. That’s the secret of unending success in the kingdom.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of who I am in Christ as revealed in your word. My life is a testimony of the revelation of God’s grace, in Jesus name – Amen.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
