SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL


February 20.
“Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought”
(Isaiah 60:11)

Beloved, every child of God has a right to be happy and prosperous. But unfortunately, unbeknownst to many believers today, the enemy has launched malicious disinformation campaigns that have effectively enslaved them for years to low self-esteem, self-hatred, guilt, inordinate fears. But today, I want to expose the devil’s lies and to help you see with pristine clarity his deceptive manipulations.
As  a child of God, your weapons to overcome the devil’s manipulations and antics are found in the truth of God’s word and they’re mighty and have the power to overthrow and destroy every stronghold that has been built up through disinformation and wrong believing. And the only way we can destroy these strongholds in our mind is by “bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). These lies of the enemy will collapse like a house of cards the moment you see your true identity in Christ.
It was Marcus Aurelius who said, “Our life is what our thoughts make it” and James Allen also said, “A man will find that as he alters his thoughts towards things, and other people, things and other people will alter towards him”. Successful and great people are those who actively and positively engage their thoughts. You must learn to harness the power of your thoughts if you are to effectively reign as a king and priest on this earth. Every battle is won and lost in the arena of your mind.
The Bible says, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverb 23:7) it means that you’re the sum total of your thoughts. The path of success involves the use of your mind to think; it involves exercising your mind in order to make inferences and decisions or well activated judgements or solutions.
According to 1 Corinthians 2:16 that says that we (the believers) have the mind of Christ, it means nothing is impossible with our minds because the mind of Christ created the entire world. As you follow God’s specific instructions, and fill your thoughts with the truth you will discover that the world will begin to unfold before you with array of possibilities. Start now to allow your mind soar beyond and present, train your mind to relate with the glorious future God has prepared for you.

PRAYER: 
 Dear Father, I thank you because I have the mind of Christ. I organize my thinking always to help me arrive at my desired destination, in Jesus name – Amen.

February 18. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)” (James 5:16 Amp) The happenings in our environments and the world over calls for our importunity in prayer.
