SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

     
                                    February 1
“But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you”
(John 14:26)

The life of the new creation in Christ is transcendent. It’s a life without limits; a life of boundless expression of His glory; a life where nothing can successfully stop you – not even the devil and his cohorts can stop your progress. The Bible tells us how after Jesus resurrected, His disciples were together in a room, and though the doors were shut, the Lord Jesus suddenly came in and stood amongst them. The force of nature was suspended and the supernatural took effect. This year and beyond, natural laws will be violated where you’re concerned and the result would be the manifestation of the miraculous.
The Bible says, “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4). According to Paul in the above verse of the scripture, when we became born again, we received “a newness of  life”. This does not refer to a renovated or reworked life but a supplanting of the old life. It refers to a new quality of life; a different kind of life, the God-life.
It is very instructive to know that when you were born again, your natural human life was replaced with the very life of God and this is why the new creation can live supernaturally.
Ephesians 4:11-12 speaks of the fivefold ministry gifts of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers and the purpose is for the “perfecting” of the saints “Katartismos” is the Greek word for perfecting and it means to be fully dressed equipped or furnished and nothing lacking. The furnishing majorly has to do with a dispensing of certain informations that will hitherto propel the new creation to know enough about his “in christ” status, and thereby live according to such knowledge and awareness.
It means that where these offices are effectively functional, it will bring the people to the place of maturity in Christ; they will get to know the kind of life they have in Christ. A lot of Christian are ignorant of the present truth and therefore cannot be established in it (2 Peter 1:12). You’ve been called into a newness of life of success, glory and excellence, so walk in this consciousness today because that’s the essence of the life you have now.

Dear Father, thank you for the new life I have now. I am an impregnable breed, not subject to the world’s order, in Jesus name – Amen.

February 18. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)” (James 5:16 Amp) The happenings in our environments and the world over calls for our importunity in prayer. Out of ignorance a lot of people are blaming God for certain occurrences in their lives. But if things must change in the direction of God’s original plans and purposes, then we must keep praying.
