"… For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth”
(1 Timothy 2:1-4)
There’s a way some people think about the kingdom of God, the Gospel of the kingdom and Jesus that’s inconsistent with the complete purpose of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. A lot of people think that He only came to save us from sin and that’s true because the Bible says, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commandeth his love towards u, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6-8).
Beyond their salvation, many people are not taught that there’s much more in the kingdom that the coming of Jesus has made possible. The death of Jesus Christ was to handle the issue of sin because the Bible says that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). But His resurrection has brought us to the point where we now have access to all that’s available in the kingdom. Although the resurrection of Jesus wouldn’t be possible if not for His death.
The Amplified Version of Deuteronomy 6:23 explains this better as it says, “And he brought us out from there, that He might bring us in to give us the land which He sword to give our fathers”. The above verse of the scripture actually proves that the reason why he brought us out (our salvation) was so that He might bring us in (we became part of God’s family) and the reason He brought us in is so that we can have access to all He has.  So it therefore let us know that His death was a means to an end; to enter into His glory and to bring many sons into glory (Luke 24:26; Hebrews 2:10; John 17:22).
According to our theme verse (I Timothy 2: 1-4).God’s desire is for all men to be saved and come to the knowledge (Greek: epignosis) of the truth. It is when a believer has this knowledge that he will know that beyond salvation, there are things freely given to us (1 Corinthians 2:12).When you come to Christ not only will you be forgiven your sins, you’ll also receive an inheritance. This is what the knowledge (epignosis) of the truth makes you aware of, know that Jesus’s death dealt with your sin but His resurrection brought you into oneness with your father where all He has belongs to you.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the awareness of my right to access all that kingdom has to offer, in Jesus name – Amen.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU

We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
