SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

                                                February 7
”Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is: For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit”
(Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Our theme verse is a description of the life of the new creation; he is blessed and ordained to be productive and effective. His success and prosperity is a product of his nature and not based on his location, colour, stature or who he knows or who he doesn’t know. He’s blessed by reason of his “in Christ” status. He’s been chosen and ordained to bring forth results and that his results should remain.
A brother had a desire to build a house and he happens to be someone very close to me. The project was a massive one but he hadn’t the kind of resources needed for the kind of house he needed. He kept calculating and strategizing, but what he had was insufficient for him to start and finish the project. We kept praying together and at a point, I told him to start and shouldn’t look at what’s not available. Today, he’s living in the house with his family and he cannot tell how it happened but he knows that it is God that has made it possible.
Beloved, you must expect divine provision in your life because you’re already richly blessed in Christ. Jesus identified with us in our poverty and now we identify with Him in His glory. That is why the Bible says, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich”(2 Corinthians 8:9. In Christ you’re no more poor.
So irrespective of the challenging financial situation, you must learn to stand your ground in faith, knowing that your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Never you give up or give in-keep the faith-switch on, for faith never fails.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the assurance of victory I have in your word. I am not poor, I am blessed beyond measure, in Jesus Christ name – Amen.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I ha
