SRPINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

                     February 15.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should SHOW forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”
(1 Peter 2:9)
The Greek word translated “show”in the above scriptureis “kataggello” and it means to declare, announce, and teach. At salvation, the new creation was  delivered from the power of darkness, and had been translated into the very kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13). He now has the extraordinary life called eternal life; the very essence of divinity; the God-kind of life.
Apostle John had a unique revelation of what this life meant and gave elaborate teachings on the quality of this life in the believers who are in Christ. In 1 John 5:11-12, he said, “And this is to record that God hath given to us eternal life, and life is in his son. He that hath the son hath life; and he that hath not the son of God hath not life”. That is why God wants us to declare, announce and teach the world about this life we have now.
It is our place to show the world who we’re. It’s time to announce to the devils of darkness and all creation the glory that follow Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection (Luke 24:26). When we declare, announce and teach the people, it is a celebration of the indestructible life we have now in Him. His resurrection has made us who we are today and that is why Acts 5:20, message translation says, “Tell the people everything there is to say about this  life”.
This incorruptible and indestructible life is available to every man through Christ Jesus. Any man that desires this life must believe in Jesus and when that happens, he would have eternal life imparted to his spirit (John 3:16). God wants you to tell those who aren’t in Christ that there’s a life better than what they know and have and He wants us to become the channel through which others will encounter this life.
Beloved, God wants you to be aware and recognize that the life of God actually is in you now; it is the transcendent life, a life beyond sickness and disease; it is a life that’s superior to satan. This is the knowledge and the consciousness you should really train yourself to live by.

PRAYER: 
Dear Father, thank you for the higher life I have now in me. I am not subject to circumstances and rudiments of this earthly realm. I am an overcomer, in Jesus name – Amen.

I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

February 18. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)” (James 5:16 Amp) The happenings in our environments and the world over calls for our importunity in prayer. Out of ignorance a lot of people are blaming God for certain occurrences in their lives. But if things must change in the direction of God’s original plans and purposes, then we must keep praying.
