SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Monday 28.
“Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder” (Matthew 26:36).According to our theme verse, we see Jesus doing the needful in preparation for the task ahead of Him. It was in the place of prayer at Gethsemane that he settled the painful task of the cross for the redemption of mankind. The Lord Jesus made it clear that man ought always to pray and not give up (Luke 18:1). If the Lord expects us to pray often, it means there’re benefits we can expect to receive when we pray.
As we begin the year 2019, bearing in mind that God expects us to accomplish so much, prayer preparation is vital because it is what precedes glorious manifestations. So you don’t have to carelessly venture into any project of yours; don’t make that choice, don’t take that decision, don’t start that business until you’ve taken out time to pray in the Holy Ghost. You can only make that serous move in your life after you’ve gotten the note of victory in your spirit and in the place of prayer to proceed.
You can never underestimate how productive your life will be when you learn to apply the factor of prayer always. Some people marvel at us when they see us pray and out of ignorance of the word of God, they wonder why we could be so audacious and confident. It is simple! We pray with such authority and confidence of faith because of the Name of Jesus. When we pray, we do in the Name of Jesus; we’re standing in Jesus’ stead to enforce our redemptive rights and privileges.
In John 14:13, Jesus said, “… whatsoever ye shall ask in my Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified”. In our place of prayer, its as though Jesus Himself is the one talking and you can be assured of having same result as Jesus would have.
Remember every time Jesus came down from the mountain after praying, tremendous miracles followed because He had activated the power in His life through prayer. Prayer helps your spirit to be more sensitive to God’s agenda for your life per time; it helps you also to be aligned with such divine plans; the eyes of your spirit are opened to see what has been prepared for you.
This is why you should be bold to start the year with prayer because you’re assured God will always say yes to you (2 Corinthians 1:20).

PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for I have boldness and access with confidences by the faith of Jesus Christ. By knowledge and prayer, I lay hold of my inheritance in Christ, in Jesus name – Amen.
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
