“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all”
(1 Timothy 4:15)
It is very impossible for a believer who knows and functions in the truth of the word of God to fail. That is why the Bible says, “…for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4)”. This portion of the Bible makes us to know that beyond salvation, there is a knowledge (Greek: epignosis) of the truth that God expects the new creation to run his life with.
As confirmed and proven, a child of God who functions in this knowledge can never at anytime or anywhere be disadvantaged or defeated in life. This is because you became an associate of the God-kind at salvation hence the whole world is yours. Now, there is no such thing as failure when you understand and function in this basic truth. When you refuse to yield to these basic revelations of your inheritance in Christ, your life will be full of “ups” and “downs”.
The word of God must become an important and inseparable part of our lives if you desire to be built, strengthened and established permanently in the provisions of redemption. All that’s available in the kingdom are obtainable if we heed to God’s word. This was Apostle Paul’s instruction to his son Timothy as captured in our theme verse. This also applies to us today if we want to reach far with God; we’re to constantly meditate on the revelation of God’s word that we receive.
Like Timothy, we’re to give ourselves wholly to the world. This is what provides a new mindset, it should dominate our thinking to the point that our communications and actions are word-based. The result of such deliberate practice would be that “our profiting”will appear to all. “Prokope” is the Greek word for profiting and it means “furtherance, advancement or progress”.
Also, the phrase, “may appear”, in our theme verse means something more than casual view of it, it is the Greek term “phaneros”, which means “to spread abroad”. This means that when we abandon ourselves to meditating on God’s word, our success will become apparent. It will spread abroad and there’s nothing that can limit us. So be wise to give yourself to meditating on God’s word.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
