SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

                                               January 10.
“And the Lord said unto Abram, after  that Lot was separated from him, lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward and eastward, and westward: for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give and to thy seed for ever”
(Genesis 13:14-15)
Beloved, God has assured me that concerning your life in this year 2019, you will walk in victory as you embrace adequate knowledge of who you  are Christ; what you have in Christ; and what Christ can achieve through you as contained in His word. God told me that as the year progresses, three things will be evident in your life: firstly, He (God) will erase the painful bad memories of the past in your life (Genesis 41:51). Secondly, He will reverse for good all the enemy had caused you (Genesis 50:20). Thirdly, His word will be proven in your life as He will have the final say in your life (Lamentation 3:36-38; Romans 3:3-4).
When God told Abraham to “Lift up his eyes and look”, He wasn’t referring to his physical eyes, but to the eyes of his spirit. He wanted him to have insight into the realm of the spirit and see the realities of God’s kingdom. That’s the realm where seeming impossible situations in the earthly realm become possible. But this is only possible through the study of the word.
It is almost an impossible task to stay glued to your vision without staying connected to God’s word. This is because the word of God is “Light” (1 John 1:7); when you start walking in the light of God’s word, the realm of the spirit will come alive to you thereby making it possible for you to function from there down here. If your vision is from God, then you cannot actualize it without God’s word.
The word of God is the only transformation agent that can change a man to the point that his neighbors cannot recognize him again. “His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked,” Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg? “Some claimed that he was. Others said, “No, he only looks like him”. But he himself insisted, “I am the man” (John 9:8-9).
The word of God is what you need to actualize that God-given vision. Never you write off your vision as an impossible case because no case is impossible with the Grace of God. Don’t conclude about your marital or financial future yet; don’t throw in the towel yet. Get ready because the same mouths that mocked you will celebrate your success this year.

February 18. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)” (James 5:16 Amp) The happenings in our environments and the world over calls for our importunity in prayer. Out of ignorance a lot of people are blaming God for certain occurrences in their lives. But if things must change in the direction of God’s original plans and purposes, then we must keep praying.
