TOPIC:GOD’S WORD: A STRONGER REALITY 4

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new”
(2 Corinthians 5:17)

There’s nothing as bad as living without having a precise knowledge of who you are in Christ if you born again. Jesus’ success on earth was built on his realization of His proper identity and the Jew would always get offended whenever He told them of His identity. That’s what we face also today when we tell some religious folks about our identity as believers in Christ.
Beloved, the revelation of what you are in Christ as contained in the epistles is what guarantees an unquestionable security in life. Because to live life without knowing who you are in Christ is to keep living in the past and missing the future. When the devil discovers that you don’t know who you are in Christ, he knows that such a life is a good place to play his prangs.
Jesus, after walking with His disciples for three years, one day decided to test their knowledge as it concerned His identity. After erroneous responses from them, Peter by revelation declared that He (Jesus) is the son of God. In response Jesus said to Peter, “… And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock (the resurrected Christ not the incarnate Christ) I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give (promissory note) unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heave: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose in earth shall be loosed in heave” (Matthew 16:18-19).
It therefore means that a believer will only have full and precise knowledge of who he is where he has same dimension of revelation of Christ. This is because the new creation is in Christ. Again, what Jesus meant in His response to Peter is that what gives access to the realities of the kingdom is not the bottle of oil, not sand, not sprinkling of water but revelation; the key to the kingdom is revelation.
The Bible says we’re joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). So stop reviling your past, you have access to all that your Father (God) has. Be convinced of this, believe it and live by it and you’ll never be defeated in life.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of your word that keeps opening my eyes to the realities of your kingdom. By revelation I enjoy all that’s available in the kingdom, in Jesus - Name Amen

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
