SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL


                                           
                                          January 14.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”
(1 Peter 2:9)
Our theme verse for today is a profound description of who God has made us to be: we’re chosen, royal and peculiar. Chosen to be God’s expression of righteousness and the manifestation of His glory in the earth. It means therefore that we’re God’s best created to manifest the God-life wherever we go; we’re not victims but God’s best.
But most believers don’t understand this reality, they live their lives below God’s expectations. Maybe your life has been that of “ups” and “downs”; you’ve become an obscured personality deprived of a place of influence in life. But you can move from the position of obscurity to limelight with knowledge and understanding, and a commitment to God.
Beloved, when you consider your peculiar attributes and heritage in Christ, you’ll discover that you’re thoroughly furnished with everything you need to be victorious and extraordinary success. You’re God’s handwork – crafted for excellence.
There’s no point sitting down there crying and lamenting for your situation instead of believing in what God has made  you. The Bible says, “And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying (Isaiah 65:19).”Jesus’ shameful death on the cross was the payment for anything that would have brought you shame. Hence the Bible says, “Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded for thou shalt not be put to shame; for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood anymore (Isaiah 54:4).”
Glorious things has started in you life so stop talking about your yesterday. Wakeup to the reality of God’s word, endorse God’s word concerning your life and see your life move from glory to glory.

February 18. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)” (James 5:16 Amp) The happenings in our environments and the world over calls for our importunity in prayer. Out of ignorance a lot of people are blaming God for certain occurrences in their lives. But if things must change in the direction of God’s original plans and purposes, then we must keep praying.
