SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

January 15.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, distress, or persecution, or farmine, or nakedness or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”(Romans 8:35-37).
The basic truths from our theme verses are that we can not walk alone – we’re in Him Justified and He’s in us glorified. It is called “Identification” which is a product of Christ’s substitutionary work on the cross. It means that the new creation is a stranger to evil. Via the love of God, what Jesus accomplished through His redemptive work provides a shield against every possible evil or circumstance that can be imagined now or in the future. It therefore means that you cannot be a victim of evil because being a victim is alien to the reality of your status of sonship.
Our opening text also states clearly that neither tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, nor sword can separate us from the love of God because in spite of them all, we’re more than conquerors. It doesn’t means you’ll conquer no matter what you are faced with in this world. No, its beyond that, that’s why its an over the top good news. It means that you have gone past merely conquering because the truth is that you conquered a long time ago in Christ.
It means therefore that you’re now living in the victory; that before the devil unleashes his attacks on you, you’d been adjudged a victor. It means that there’s no evil the devil may send your way, you’re above all of that. Distressing situations come; challenging situations come from the devil – but we’ve been already made overcomers.
The Bible says, “… who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the  will of our God and Father (Galatians 1:4).”   Evidently, the will of God is that no matter what will come your way, you’ll come out stronger and unruffled. So don’t allow the circumstances of life make you a victim.

PRAYER:   Dear Father, I refuse to exalt any situation that’s contrary to your word. I acknowledge my status as a victor, in Jesus Name – Amen.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
