SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
January 12.
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen”
(2 Peter 3:18)
The Lord is doing something beautiful in our day. We’re in a new era in the move of the spirit; an era where the believer is unlimited through the grace of God; a period that tremendous things are happening. The glory of God is everywhere, His righteousness spreading like wild fire. Satan is not happy hence he fights back in wickedness but we’re not perturbed because what the grace of God is doing is far more greater than the wickedness of Satan.
Through the grace of God, this year we will do more in expanding God’s kingdom. As we preach the Gospel, the kingdom of God will be established in the hearts of men. God is dispatching more people with the Gospel to lead more people to righteousness and environments and nations that earlier restricted the preaching of the Gospel are now wide open for the sake of souls.
But unfortunately, the church is not seizing this opportunity; the church is busy engaging in entertainments, instead of spreading the glory. They don’t have understanding of the time. Jesus after His resurrection met with two of His disciples on their way to Emmaus who had the same problem as the church today. “Then he said unto them, o fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets has spoken” (Luke 24:25).Not that Jesus was abusing them, He was actually addressing their state.
The word “fools” is translated “anoets” in Greek and it means to lack a particular understanding. It is the same word Paul used in (Galatians 3:1, 3). The word “slow”is theGreek “bradus”. It means to be dull in understanding. The two disciples lacked a perception, a knowledge of the period they were which was the time of the fulfillments of the prophecies of the prophets.
Today the church is acting in the same way the disciples did. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus is the unleashing of the promised glory (Luke 24:26) we’re in the era where we can do more for the kingdom. It is now time for us to change our perception and go for available souls. Never you allow this opportunity to slip through your hands. It is now time for us to give more for the preaching of the Gospel. If you can see what God is seeing you’ll wake up to do something.

PRAYER: Dear Father, I pray that your church will understand the era we are, in Jesus name – Amen.
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
