“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:3-4).
The main reason for failure in the body of Christ has been a lack of the knowledge of redemption as contained in the New Testament (the epistles). A lot of believers have false assumptions about God and you know when a person has a false knowledge about God, he or she will also have a false assumption about his personality in Christ. These false assumptions are what have robbed the church of their faith in God and these assumptions are products of inaccurate teachings.
We see an example of having a wrong mindset about the character of God in Job; it was obvious later on in his life that everything he knew about God were rumours; the different things he heard from people; his friends; his wife etc. This definitely coloured Job’s mind and affected his thoughts; words and consequently his actions. Job had this to say, “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee” (Job 42:5).
We have witnessed a lot of preachers without proper appraisal indulge in a cross– testamental use or application of words, concepts and phrases. And the result of this is that they ignorantly deny the epistles their rightful place of being the revelation of scriptures. Knowledge is one of the things that will characterize this age and it plays a vital role in our lives. If you’re not fully exposed to a comprehensive knowledge of God, there’s no way you will be able to appropriate the promises of God.
As a child of God, you should know that all things are subject to you; all things are yours and all things have been provided for you (Ephesians 1:22; I Corinthians 3:21-23). In the realm of the spirit, you’re seated with Christ in the heavenlies (Ephesians 2:4-6) and together you’re reigning over all things; over all principalities, power and might, and dominion, and every name that is named.
As a believer, all authority has been vested on you to alter circumstances of your life and establish the righteousness of God in the earth. That is what you get when you’re reconciled to the Father. Your word, have inherent ability to create the change you require, so start making bold utterances this morning as it regards your life and future.

We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
