SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

  March 6.
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick….”
(James 5:14-15)

The Bible especially in the epistles teaches us what to do when healing is needed. It reveals to us that the believer has inherent power to heal the sick. This is true but unfortunately, a lot of believers in some churches, don’t accept, recognize, preach about or mention the power of God. There are many good ministries who do talk about good Christian virtues like humility, love, patience etc. but do not go on to talk about the power of God.
The new creation church is a wholesome church such that no one should be sick, however if anyone is sick, healing should be ministered to such a person. By my survey, I discover that people have withdrawn and gradually moved away from the power side of God they have moved away from the supernatural and the Bible speaking says, “some will have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof…”(2 Timothy 3:5).
But you see, as  a believer, you’ve been mandated to heal the sick because you can. The Bible says; “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick” (Luke 9:1-2). It is our responsibility to heal the sick; we’re to pray with faith, boldness and the expectation that what we decree in prayer will come to pass.
We have been given the authority in the Name of Jesus to issue decrees with daring audacity and have them established. Even though some people think that those who believe in miracles are weird and unbalanced; some even say that poverty and backwardness is what makes people believe in supernatural power. But the truth is that the supernatural is real and where it is overlooked in Christianity then we would be practicing philosophy.
The nature of God has been imparted to your spirit at salvation; you’re the one to heal the sick. So any time you have the sick around you, just pray in faith and you will see the manifestation of God’s power. Be conscious of who you’re and what you can do.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the assurance I have that I am called to heal. I pray boldly on the sick and healing follows, in Jesus name – Ame

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
