SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith…”
(Ephesians 3:17).
“Eutarkeia” is the Greek word for “sufficiency” as captured in the above verse of the scripture and it indicates a state of self-sufficiency to the point where one requires no support. That’s the proof of the God-life you have now; it is effective, efficient and balanced.
“Hikanotes” is another Greek word for sufficiency and its usage is found in 2 Corinthians 3:5 that says, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God”. And this refers to competence; being qualified enough to be able; to be up to the task.
But a lot of believers don’t believe they have all it takes to excel in life; they’re always complaining the way life is treating; they’re today up and tomorrow down; they’re not walking in the vantage position of their placement in Christ. We’re in the era of rest, ruling and reigning with the king, seated with Him in the heavenlies (Ephesians 2:6).
For a believer to think and live from this perspective of limitless possibilities and endless opportunities, he must see first with God’s light. You cannot function with this mindset except you see with His light. The word of God is light (Psalm 119:105) and the scripture tells us to walk in the light as God is the light.
Seeing with the light means seeing by the word; it means your judgment, opinions and mindset are informed, influenced and inspired by the truth of the word of God. The word of God is what will create a mindset of a victor in you. With this mindset, you know you can never be defeated, you’re a victor and champion irrespective of any circumstances. Step out today with a settled mindset of a victor refuse to cower where challenges arises. You’re made for the top.
