SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

“And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled…” (Colossians 1:21 NKJV).
Christ Jesus initiated and established peace between God and man through His death on the cross; man had become alienated from the life of God through disobedience; but that was in the past because Jesus in the body of His flesh through death has reconciled us back to Himself. God is no more angry with mankind. All of His anger was put on Jesus when He hung on the Cross. Jesus did all of that on our behalf. That is why the Bible says,” To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them…” (2 Corinthians 5:19). God is not angry with the world, He loves the world (John 3:16). He is not counting anybody’s sin now, it is when a man rejects His offer of salvation and dies as a sinner, that such a fellow will meet God’s anger and judgment.
Ephesians 2:14-15says, “For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace”. What stood between man and God has been “abolished”. “Abolish” is the Greek word “katargeo” which means to bring to an end, to be done away, to be removed, to render powerless, to nullify.
So as far as God is concerned, you’re without blemish and free from all accusations; you’re holy, blameless and beyond reproach. (Colossians 1:22) you’re holy not because of what you did or didn’t do but as a result of what Jesus did.
The effect of this is that you can now stand before God without any sense of guilt or inferiority. You’re not a second class citizen; you have no history because your beginning is God hence it is impossible to have generational curse(s); you’re a new kind of person carrying God’s DNA; what stop others cannot successfully stop you. You’re born of incorruptible “seed”(Greek: sperma) (I Peter 1:23). You’re born of the same sperm that gave birth to Jesus. You’re eternally accepted in the beloved (Ephesians), you’re a partaker of same nature with God having escaped the corruption that is in this world, (2 Peter 1:4) walk daily in this consciousness.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the peace I have, having been reconciled to you, in Jesus name – Amen.
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
