SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

                                                      March 8.
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son” (I John 5:11).
The word of God carries inherent ability to produce what it talks about; it carries the life and the spirit of God in it. That is why Jesus, emphatically said, “it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). What Jesus meant in the above statement is that, He was lifting the curtain and letting us see the realities, available in the kingdom.
It means that the word of God carries in them power, energy and the creative ability of God; His words are life giving words, love building words, faith creating words. When a man hears and believes His word, the same creative ability inherent in the word is extended into that man. And the result would be that man now has in him the same nature and all the attributes that makes God.
Jesus is the word of God made flesh (John 1:14) and you must have known by now the new creation (the Christian) is a product of God’s word (1 Peter 1:23; James 1:18). And Jesus speaking while He walked on this earth said, “For as the father hath life in himself; so hath given to the son to have life in himself” (John 5:26). By implication He meant that He had the same form and quality of life as God. He was self-reliant, self-dependent, He lived from inside out, not requiring any help from outside. And His mission here was to supply that same life to whosoever believes.
Beloved, since you believed and receiveth Jesus into your heart, you now have the same quality of life in you! The Bible says, “He that hath the son hath life; and he that hath not the son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:12). It is not a general or a natural kind of life but a special kind of life because the CEV translation of same verse of the scripture says “… if we have God’s son, we have THIS LIFE”.
But it is not enough to have this life in you, you must also distribute it to those who are yet to be born again because like Jesus you’re a life-giving spirit now (I Corinthians 15:45-48).The same way you received this life is the same way they can also receive it. This new life has nothing to do with failure, death or sickness, but has everything to do with success and victory. So make up your mind to deposit this life in someone today – tell someone about Jesus today.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I celebrate the divine life I have now in me. I live victoriously distributing this life to those who don’t have it, in Jesus name - Amen.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
