SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
March 13.
“Jesus the mediator of the new covenant and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel”
(Hebrews 12:24 NKJV).
God does not condone sin but a believer shouldn’t be afraid of sin. God doesn’t compromise His standards; He does not relax His demands, hence, rather than dismiss sin, He assumed the responsibility of sentencing Himself. In Genesis 4:10 God testified of the unusual voice of Abel voices that was crying from the ground which implied that the cry of Abel blood was so strong to be silenced by any human force or by time. Much more God acknowledges the distinct nature of Jesus blood before His throne.
The blood of Jesus is what advocates, pushes for and argues in our favour and this is one of the effect of Jesus’ substitutional sacrifice on our behalf. The blood of Jesus is what champions the cause of our liberty hence anytime any situation seeks to challenge our acquired freedom in Christ, the advocate is called to bear on our behalf.
The blood of Jesus is what justifies us; we’re now at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). And this peace means that we’re united with God; we’re free, discharged, acquitted and not guilty as charged. Our justification is because the blood of Jesus is involved as a down payment made for sins to be wiped away. This means that you have no sin and you’re not guilty of any charge again because of Jesus your advocate.
Jesus was punished for our sins hence we’re redeemed and justified. God put sin on His son and all His anger was on His son. So God cannot be angry with you because if He does, it means He is angry with Himself and God cannot be angry with Himself. This is very instructive, and you must know this.
Jesus at the Passover table said the Blood is shed for the remission of sins and this refers to the new covenant. So your faith should be based on what God did for you through His son and not what you can do by yourself because no matter how you try, you cannot justify yourself.
So whenever the devil comes accusing you, remember that the voice of your unusual lawyer (the advocate) will override every judgment.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
