SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

March 18.
“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 1:6).
Our relationship with God must be based on proper understanding of His word especially as contained and revealed in the Epistles. To walk in the consciousness of who you’re in Christ, a believer must be properly taught and instructed from the word of God. You must understand that the believer can never be more efficient in his Christian experience than he is in his understanding of the scriptures.
According to our theme verse, Apostle Paul’s prayer for his son Philemon was for him to “acknowledge” (Greek: “epignosis” Having a precise, comprehensive knowledge) as it has to do with who he is in Christ; what he has in Christ; and the abilities he has in Christ. Because if these truths remain muddled up in any believer, understands that the believer will be short in his Christian experience and the benefits of his identification in Christ.
Having been reconciled to the Father, it is very important to know that as a believer, you’ve been made superior to Satan. The resurrection of Jesus made a champion of the believer. As a new creation, not only has Jesus given you power and authority to cast Satan out (Luke 10:19), He also made you superior to him and all his demons. This is because, as we have been reconciled to the Father, we have become one with God; we became one divine creation with our heavenly Father. What makes us superior to the devil is that we have the very life of God in us.
Furthermore, having been reconciled to the Father, you’re now a citizen of heaven (Ephesians 2:19). A citizen is a legal occupant of a place by birth or right. It therefore means you don’t make heaven, you’re already there (Ephesians 2:16). Until Jesus came, Satan had the keys of death but Jesus by His death, burial and resurrection took the keys from the devil. That is why the Bible speaking of Jesus says, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death” (Revelation 1:18).
It therefore means you can never go to hell now that your brother is with the keys. Jesus spoiled Satan by obtaining from him the keys of death and hell, and gave you authority over him. So sin and death are under your dominion. These are some of the benefits of your reconciliation to the Father, walk daily being conscious of them.

PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for making me a new creation. I have the life of God in me, I am superior to the devil and his demons in Jesus name – Amen.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.

Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
