SPRINGBOARD DAILY DEVOTIONAL
March 23.
“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that BELIEVE are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by law of Moses” (Acts 13:38-39).
Because of ignorance, a lot of religious folks think that by their works of righteousness, they are justified before God. but the scripture speaking says, “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin…” (Isaiah 53:10). That’s why I keep saying that what Jesus did on the cross has eternal impact; He (Jesus)having understood the extent of the impact of His death, burial and resurrection can boldly boast by saying, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pick them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand” (John 10:28-29).The picture of the salvation that Jesus consummated for humanity is that Jesus died in our place; He was condemned in our place, thus paying the full penalty for our sins. So, trying to justify yourself by your works is not to appreciate what Jesus has done for you. Apostle Paul addressed same issue when he wrote to the church in Rome: “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of law of righteousness to everyone that believeth” (Romans 10:1-4).
Because of ignorance, a lot of people, believers alike, have been indulging in self-blame; because of excessive self-recrimination, they have rendered their faith and life ineffective. If you really understand what Jesus did on the cross, you’ll understand what it means to be justified and you’ll stop living in condemnation. To be justified means to be declared righteous; to be acquitted; the charges against you were dismissed. And until you start seeing yourself in this light, you’ll keep living the low life.
Until and unless you accept who God has made you, you’ll never live to fulfill it. If you don’t believe you’re holy, you’ll never live holy. Start seeing the right picture of yourself as revealed in God’s word now and you’ll be limitless in every area of your life.

WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
WE PASSIONATELY CARE ABOUT YOU
We believe there is a void in every person that only a relationship with God can fill. We’re not referring to finding religion or joining a particular church we are referring to having a relationship with your heavenly father through his son Jesus Christ. We believe that knowing him is the source of true peace and fulfillment in life we encourage you to pray thus: Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead I hereby confess you as my lord and savior. I receive the life of God into my spirit and now am born again.
Thank you lord Jesus for the new life I have now in you. In Jesus name – amen
